Dear Neighbors at The Eastwood Lafayette III (TEL3) Condominium,
Our thoughts are with our neighbors at the Olympic Heights Condominium following the recent fire incident. Events like this serve as a sobering reminder of how quickly emergencies can happen, and how vital it is for us to prioritize the safety, awareness, and preparedness of our own community.
To ensure we are all informed and protected, we invite you to a special Coffee Saturday gathering this coming 4th of July. This session will be dedicated entirely to fire safety awareness specifically for our TEL3 community.
Over a fresh cup of coffee, we will discuss:
- Crucial fire prevention and safety tips
- Emergency evacuation protocols specific to our building
- Practical steps we can collectively take to secure our homes
- Life Safety Systems & Preventive Maintenance.
- Containment and Egress (The "Passive" Defenses).
- Compliance, Inspections, and Contractor Control.
- The Human Element: Resident & Staff Readiness.
Let's come together to learn, share, and ensure our building remains a safe place for everyone to call home. Your presence and participation are highly encouraged.
